Who should attend NFBA workshops?
Anyone can attend the NFBA workshops. Whether you are new to the business of fitness or have been in the industry for years, everyone will get a wealth of information from attending our events. You should plan on bringing all the key players from your business with you including: management, directors of training, lead sales staff and customer service employees.
What is the workshop schedule?
Each NFBA event is different so when reviewing the details about Business of Fitness, The Master Class, Speaker School and Social Strategy Workshop, the general time schedule will be in the details.
How do I register?
When you find the workshop you want to register for simply click the "Register Now” button. This will take you to the online registration form. If you feel more comfortable registering over the phone or need to set up a payment plan, please contact us at 800-556-7464.
Will I get a registration confirmation?
Yes, the NFBA will send you a confirmation email that will include all of the final details about the workshop. If you register over the weekend, you’ll get your confirmation email on Monday morning.
Does the NFBA offer CEC’s?
No, the NFBA doesn’t offer CEC’s but we will provide you with a certificate of attendance that you are able to provide to your education company to apply for CEC’s.
Where are the events held?
The events are held at a local hotel. All of the hotel details are listed on the "Register Now” section of the website. Once you register for the event you will get a confirmation email from the NFBA that will include the location address and phone number.
Do you offer hotel accommodations?
Yes, the NFBA does have special room rates for all of our events. Once you register you will get that information regarding pricing.
How should I book my hotel room?
Once you have registered for an NFBA event you will receive a confirmation email that will provide you all of the hotel information. You’ll need to contact the hotel and let them know you are traveling with the NFBA to receive our special room rate reserved for our events.
What should I wear?
The event is business casual. You will be sitting for most of the day so you will want to be in something comfortable. We highly suggest bringing a sweater or sweatshirt with you as we do keep the event spaces cool.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
You should bring a notebook so you can take notes throughout the event. The NFBA provides you a jump drive at each event with the handouts that support everything taught at the events. If specific items are needed for the event, it will be outlined for you in the confirmation email from the NFBA.
Can I attend only part of the workshop and pay a lower rate?
No, you aren’t able to do this. The NFBA workshops are spread over an entire day so if you don’t do the entire program you will miss out. Our cohesive program is built over the entire day so that you have a complete business system when you leave.
Is food provided?
We provide coffee and water throughout the day.
How many people attend these events?
We cap our general events at 150 people.
Where are the NFBA events held?
The NFBA holds our events at local hotel locations.
